The remote starter will not shut off the radio when you decide not to go into the car after remotely starting it. Also when you start the car remotely, the doors DO NOT shut automatically. When you put the key in the ignition, the car shuts off and you have to restart the car. What a waste of time and engine. Also instead of having the key with the starter on it, there's a FOB that hangs off the ignition key so that if it breaks off, you have no remote starter. This takes up a lot of space in pockets as well.
