Two weeks after I bought my Escape I noticed a chip on the back driver's door. Took it to the dealers three times of them touching up the door and the first time they made me buy the paint. Then the actual service manger got involved. The service manger tried to say it was my seat belt and that the door gaps was in spec. I yelled saying it was not the seat belt and there was a big difference from each side of the doors. They said they would fix it but they do not have loaner cars. I told them this was a brand new car and I was not paying for a rental car. They said Ford would not pay for it. To get it fixed I got a family member to pick me up.

The next day the dealer called and said Ford would pay for a car. Finally the car was done after three days. I go and pick it up and the touch up paint job was awful and the Service Manger said it would smooth itself out. Anyway, door does not chip anymore but I do have a lot more wind noise. I am told there is nothing else they can do. I knew I should have bought a Chevy.
