Escape SE 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 18,641 miles

I'm a 76 year old citizen of Canada and I wanted a truck that would last me my lifetime at first I love the escape but this past summer it started to pull to the right had my brakes check and every thing I had to move from Red Deer Alberta to Miramichi New Brunswick .So in September 29 I left to come to the Miramichi got here on the 3rd of Octomber 2018 and my problem was getting worst much to say I travelled 3,230 miles with a defective steering that I didn't know about so I wanted to have a New Brunswick Inspection done .I had hard time ti turn the escape into the Ford dealer ship cause the steering was lock rd to turn but I manage to get it into the service Department and I told them about the steering. They had hard time to bring it in the shop to see what was what they told me it was the electronic rack and pinion was gone and it would cost me 2,447ve it back on the road.I dont have that kind of money after moving across Canada and the truck is still at the Ford dealership I haven't got a clue what they are going to do with it .I phone the Ford Company in Oakville in Ontario and they dont know what they are doing so I'm pretty well pissed off now nothing to drive and I have to take taxi's wherever I want to go and it's getting expensive .
