Ok here is another one. Driving on a 150 mile trip the engine blew a rod out the block about 120 miles into the trip. No warning lights or message on the instrument panel. The car has always been serviced by Ford. They actually said oil changes should be done every 10,000 miles and we had it changed every 5-6000 miles. The oil level was even checked before the trip. The car had no oil when it blew and no leaks so where the heck did the oil go? It is currently at a Ford Dealership and was just informed they can't find a motor for it even though we had it appraised by two different dealerships for repair. Of course we chose the less cost of the two at almost $6,000. We got a hold of Ford and they told us the car is over 10 years old and parts not available. This is their Flagship vehicle and ford will not stand behind it until they are forced to a recall or sued. They know this motor is a problem and don't care about the consumer. This will be the last Ford we will ever buy. As a matter of a fact our large family will not buy a ford because they have no Good Faith Policy. Nissan did however do a good faith on our Titan 4x4 when the front end and rear end of it blew. We were even willing to pay a portion but no help at all from Ford. The old saying F ound On Road Dead stands for itself. So We bought a new car from Chevy. They also lost this sale. The car is still at the dealer and they are trying to find a new motor. They had promised a 3 year unlimited mile warranty parts and labor on a new engine. These things were suppose to go 300,000 miles. NOT
