First my remote stopped working i changed the battery twice didn't work well my truck had un programmed itself from the remote so i had to go to Matthews and have them re-program it (which is like the easiest thing in the world-total waste of time to have to sit and wait for them to do something i had to re-do myself at least 10x) But after that my remote still worked but stopped unlocking the drivers door, so then i was using the key, but after that the key stopped unlocking it and i had to open my door from the inside.

The key fob has now stopped working completely. The problem began when my car alarm would go off randomly if I set the alarm by double clicking the lock button on the key fob. Now the only way to lock or unlock the vehicle is with the key or keyless entry pad on the driver's door. This seems to be related to the complete meltdown of the entire electrical module in the dashboard. I've been quoted $700 for a repair.

The door locks and rear hatch will not open with the key fob or the master switch on driver door. Also the interior lights do not always go off when the car is shut down. Any one have any ideas? Jim
