I have never had an issue with my car engine wise. I take my car to a detail place to have it cleaned. they tell me that my car won't start. i automatically start with - what did you do to it. they end up closing up shop while someone was still looking at my car to get it running. i get it started but it died on me 2 times driving home. I finally have my mechanic come over with his computer, and he realizes that the pedal sensor is not working. he said this just wears out sometimes (i still believe the detail company did something, even though he said all the wires were connected). this is a complete pain in the butt, and i haven't had my car in 2 weeks. i was searching for the part and was coming up with 400.00 just for the part. finally i called a ford dealership and got a reasonable quote of 135.00. just waiting for the part to come in now so that i can have it installed. luckily i have a ride to work everyday.
