Explorer Eddie Bauer V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 104,000 miles

The back seat only has 2 sets of car seat anchors for the carseat tethers. I can only anchor 2 carseats from the bottom and the top. I have 2 toddler convertible car seats, and an infant rear facing carseat and they all have to be in the back seat. It is unsafe to only have 2 sets. Even my Honda Accord has 3 sets of anchors. The reason I bought the suv was specifically for the children and the space for the carseats, so they wouldn't all have to be shoved together in the back of a midsized car. Very disappointed in Ford for this safety inconsistency.
