Explorer XLT 3.5L V6 Dohc 24v

  • Automatic transmission
  • 26,000 miles

When rolling down any of the 4 power windows, windows stick no matter rolling up or down. All windows skip/bump/jump/shake; dealership states this is normal operation. Dealership claims they have seen this issue on similar Ford Explorers and replacing window motors & regulators doesn't correct the issues.

Has anyone else seen this issue and if so, was it fixed? And how.

Update from Jan 22, 2018: dealer stated window drag, jump and stick is normal operation on all ford explorers. i have three friends that have the same model as mine and it doesnt emit this issue. i informed the dealer something is wrong with the window channel, regular or a conglameration of the two. dealer claims its normal operation. i will be monitoring the operation in the next few weeks.
