Super long story but if you enjoy other people's suffering then please hold on to your seat. This vehicle was given to me as a gift, can't really complain about a free vehicle, unless of course that vehicle has more issues than pokemon go has glitches. Most of it was minor things that I learned the love because my vehicle was "quirky" and "unique", then things began a downward slope into hell on which I'm currently still riding. To begin with my vehicle for some reason had the child safety lock permanently set for the back seat so whenever I had extra people ride with me I had to open the door for them, not too big of an issue if you enjoy being someone's chauffeur. I also had issues with the driver's side lock, some days it would lock, other days it wouldn't I just had to live my life on the assumption that no one would want to still anything from my car. Next the outside door handle broke. I handled this like I handle every other thing that goes wrong in my life, I ignored it and continued to go about my life while internally stressing out. (very healthy method of being an adult) To get into my vehicle I now had to open the back door and reach through in order to pop open the front door. This continued for about a year (yeah I know I'm horrible) When I had to get my brakes replaced I got the mechanic to replace the door handle, seeing as I had bought a new one and never got it installed. It worked for about a day and life was so so sweet. But then hell began summoning me again and the door handle stopped working. I took it back and they assured me it was an electrical issue and that they could not do any further work on it. I continued on with my life for a couple months until life got me down again and the inside driver's side door handle broke. I now had to open the passenger side and crawl through. This of course was a terrible blow but being the poor and irresponsible college student that I am, I once again continued on with my life. At this point I began to feel like a knight and a crazed rabbit, "Tis only but a scratch." Life was less great for about two days when my outside passenger door handle snapped off in my hands. Then I had to resume opening up the back door, reaching through to open the front door and then crawling through. But thats not all! It gets much worse. Now my inside passenger door handle is holding on for dear life. And you may be thinking but if that door handle goes can't you just crawl in through the back seat? You would be oh so wrong, if you recall from my early misfortune, the back door child safety lock is stuck. I may be able to get into the car but there would be no way I would be getting out. Unless I used a window, of course! The answer to all my woes! But wait, I have a dinner reservation with Lucifer and I shall not be late now. On the same day I discovered a lovely issue with my transmission, I pulled up to the local Sonic looking to quench my unbearable sadness and what should I find? The driver's side window no longer rolls down. In my wildly uneducated guess I believe there may just be something wrong with the wiring in my door. Seeing as the McDonald's dollar menu is a fancy night out for me I most likely will not be getting this issue fixed any time soon. My wish is that on my downward spiral into hell I will perhaps have the great fortune of being pulled over so that I can share my many blessings with the officer, I'm sure he'll get a kick out of me not being to roll the window down to give him my paper work or to open the door to get out. I'm just waiting for the next leg of my journey, I have a feeling things are only going to get better from here.
