Not the first issue, second nor third, etc. When my pick up still was under warrentee. Numerous complaints i made, regarding rear end was defected. Going thru firestone/good year tires, once a year. Truck sat in Ford dealer last time, aprox. 2 weeks, when warrentee expired, It was then, acknowledged, rear end was defected. Then thermostat housings replaced three times for repeatedly cracking! Horrible paint job for a $30,000 plus truck, peeling numerous places. Several years ago ford blew that off. And lastly, here we are the instrument cluster, doesn't operate properly! This instrument panel, without dout, was an issue. A long time before I've recently realized the severity of this problem. When housings would crack, was stuck two times during the summer, for overheating, vehicle would automatically shut down! Without temperature gauge, moved, giving me No indication truck was overheating!! Finally had the housing again, replaced last year, at my expense, (3x's) ! & now that leads me to the entire cluster, is shot. Only ran out of gas once, middle of road! Ford, really what more can be said, other than the sport tracs , we're never a hit! A hybrid maybe, a clip that flopped? IDK, say the least. That's my story! The conclusion, When I lived in Fla. I always went with Ford's. I had bought, or leased them relentlessly, especially for our business. We swore up & down, telling, bragging too everyone, can't beat a Ford vehicle. Now today, ask me that same question. Never ever buy another ford again! We've had our fair share, not to mention, terrible numerous negative experiences, with Ford products never again. P.S. I was being modest, I never even brought up the fact, regarding the transmission. Hard shifting, 2nd to 3rd gear. Can give a person whip lash. I said enough, had enough! I'm thru!
