The support cables that retained the tailgate corroded. The condition caused the tailgate to drop.. on June 3, 2005 tom bowman (ODI) contacted the owner to review the above report. The owner advised that his complaint was intended to address the spare tire support cable rather than the tailgate support cable reported above.
