problem #2

F-150 4WD 8-cyl

  • Automatic transmission

Heard banging in rear of truck, mostly while backing up and turning to left at first. Heard loud bang while pulling into gas station, then when I drove away, felt dragging, still not sure what the problem was, till I got home while backing into a parking spot, heard the loud bang again. After some ivestigation, determined the problem was in the differential. Had to have truck towed to dealer, and they found broken spider gears in the differential. Dealer replaced parts. Sattisfied with repair.
