problem #2

Dec 082003

F-150 8-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,480 miles
Passenger side rear tire broke off at the axle, while going approximately 35 mph, causing the truck to spin out. Unexplainable, did not have an accident for this to happen.

problem #1

F-150 4WD 8-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 6,500 miles
Rear wheels have enough play in them that there is a noticeable clunk when turning. Took the truck to the dealer and the end play of the axles are.020. Ford manufacturer said up to.030 is tolerable and I will have to live with the clunking sound. I did not pay $30,000 for a truck to listen to a clunking sound!
