F-150 5.4L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 64,000 miles

THIS REALLY SUCKS BECAUSE IT IS VERY DANGEROUS.... IT HAS HAPPENED IN THE FREEWAY, GOOD THING THAT I WAS ON THE SLOW LANE, I JUST PULLED OVER AND TURNED ON THE TRUCK AGAIN. I WISH FORD WOULD LET US KNOW ABOUT THIS, I'M SURE THEY KNOW THAT THIS PROBLEM EXISTS.

F-150 Lariat 5.4L Triton

  • Automatic transmission
  • 57,000 miles

Its just terrible you're driving and it just dies and goes into fail safe mode which makes it hard to steer. You have to come to a complete stop then re-start. This is not fun when you are on the freeway.

F-150 5.4L

  • Automatic transmission

There is a recall on the truck that includes the fuel injectors. The catch is that it took Ford 3 years to figure that one out. I took my truck to for because it was idling rough and actually stalling on me. Funny thing was, they spoke to me about being able to afford the truck and not the actual problem. Funny thing is I could have bought two, thank heavens I didn't.

Now unless they can or will cause damage they will not be replaced. I did finally get Ford to replace the injectors, but found out they didn't do all of them because headquarters won't let them. So, I get to deal with a rough idle on the truck. It is intermittent but i am sure it will never go away.
