F-150 Lariat V6 Eco Boost

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,100 miles

We are one of 15 Ford F150 owners that their 2011 Eco Boost pickup is in the shop and NO PARTS to be had to fix it!!! I have gotten no answers from the Ford people as to WHEN and IF the part will ship any time soon. They did take care of us and get us a rent car to get my family home from a vacation.......but that doesn't make it any easier having a $50K pick up with 3100 miles break down.

Right now our vehicle is sitting in the hot sun baking waiting for the part to ship. Once it is fixed, WE are responsible to get our vehicle back.......I cannot believe Ford is still selling these pick ups off their lots knowing there is a major problem. We took our pick up back in to the dealership with 76 miles and said something was wrong but they couldn't find the problem. If they had checked a little deeper maybe we wouldn't have been stranded and a vacation ruined by FORD!!!!

F-150 King Ranch 5.0L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,875 miles

Vehicle had less than 1900 miles on it when I noticed transmission fluid leaking onto garage floor. I took the vehicle to dealer on Jun 6th. Dealer informed me Ford had a manufacturing problem for the 6 speed transmission manufactured after May 2, 2011. My transmission was manufactured on May 11, 2011. Dealer informed me the tech bulletin the entire transmission pump assembly had to be replaced but that the parts would not arrive until the end of July or the first of August 2011. And I could not drive the vehicle. So I called Ford "Customer Service" on June 8, 2011. A "customer solutions tech" called me on June 9, 2011 and promised she would get back with me on June 10, 2011. This is June 13, 2011 and I haven't heard a word from the "customer solutions tech". $48,000 for a vehicle I can't drive and a complete failure of Ford's people. What a bunch of BS this is.
