problem #2

F-150 STX 5.0L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 16,213 miles

It was ironic as it had only 16,213 miles on my truck and I drive very little, carefully and do not tow anything. The two [2] rear rotors had to be turned and brake pads replaced. I could not believe it. Now, I just found out that the brake are going bad again and I have only a little over 30,000 miles on it.

F-150 FX4 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

Inside of front rotors where grooved and the inside pads were worn twice as much as the outside pads. The truck only has 25,000 miles on it and the dealer said it was not abnormal for this to happen and they did not cover any of it. Turned it in to Ford and they were no help either. Paid the $180 to have the rotors turned and the pads replaced. Will have to wait and see if the problem comes back or not.
