Had a vibration/pulsation in the steering wheel and brake pedal when braking. Ford said no go on warranty due to normal wear and tear. Took it to my mechanic and he said the rotors were warped, replaced the fronts with new rotors and pads. Still had a pulsing pedal, so he replaced the rear rotors and pads. 27,000 miles?????? Are you kidding me??? My old Chevy Silverado went over 90k before I replaced them. He asked if I hauled a lot, ahhhh NO! nothing but the tool box in back.39,000 mile mark today, took it in for new tires at Goodyear, they just called and said my brake pads are almost gone. WTF???? For real?? Yes sir. Taking it back to my mechanic tomorrow so he can check it out. I think the calipers may be the problem! What a pile a crap. Selling this turd and going back to Chevy. Bye Ford.

I went to the dealership with a complaint that the front end vibrated when I applied the brakes. Thought maybe the rotors needed tune up. I was told the rotors were grooved on the backside and couldn't be repaired. They also said I needed new pads. The truck only had 16800 miles on it. I have never needed this kind of repair, on any vehicle I have owned, so soon. Of course it isn't covered by warranty. I just can't believe there isn't some workmanship problem here.

Like most 2013 F150 owners, my front rotors went bad about 38,000 miles. Lots of pulsating. Replaced the rotors and pads and brakes function like new. Ford went cheap on brakes to save a $.

My 2013 F-150 had pulsating in the front end when applying the brakes at 50 mph +. Dealership said rotors needed to be turned so I had that done. Less than 10,000 miles later, same problem. Called dealership, they said that's normal, I said horse s***, they said brakes should be overhauled every 10,000 miles or so. On researching I found pervasive problems with the brakes on the F-150 because of inferior material. Cheapo brakes! Probably won't buy another Ford...
