Vehicle was moving, was parking in my driveway when it stalled and wouldn't start. Vehicle towed to mullinax Ford, new smyrna beach, Florida. Invoice # 191885. The wire from the fuel pump/relay overheated and burned the wire and the fuse causing the vehicle to stop. Fors is aware of this problem and even have a relocate kit el3Z 14293 a to correct the problem. This should be a recall not a repair paid for by the customer. There is obviously a defect in the design and they even have a kit to correct.

Throttle body errors P2111. Vehicle suddently stalls and shutters. Recall issued for other Ford vehicles with this exact problem. F150 ecoboost also needs to be included. This almost causes my family to be in an accident. Vehicle was traveling 32mph and coasting at the time. Lost all acceleration

The contact owns a 2013 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the vehicle did not start and was not operable. Prior to the failure, the vehicle experienced a loss of power. The vehicle was towed to len stoler Ford (11275 reisterstown rd, owings mills, md) where it was diagnosed that the fuse that runs through the fuel pump was defective due to the fuel wiring harness overheating. A new wire needed to be relocated to another fuse box. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 40,372.

On a trip, September 20th going to the smoky mountains, our 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck suddenly lost power. We were on mile marker 295 eastbound on interstate 40, in the left side passing lane going about 55 mph up a hill. The engine stopped with no warning. The dash screen flashed a picture of a wrench and then said "low oil pressure." The oil pressure gauge showed no pressure. I thought the engine had blown. As I tried to navigate to the right side of the road, while on a hill, many semi-trucks slammed on their brakes trying to avoid my truck pulling a 5th wheel trailer. We miraculously avoided a possible major accident. Ultimately we learned it was a small $0.50, number 27, 20 amp fuse to the fuel pump that caused the engine to stop. We were stuck on the side of the road for 2 hours until we could get a tow truck for both our truck and 5th wheel. Ford is aware of fuse 27 (for fuel pump) frequently melting. They even have a relocation kit to move the fuse when it melts due to overheating because of its location. In our case this nearly caused an accident involving semi trucks.

Fortunately, we had just returned from avoiding hurricane irma after 1100 miles. A battery indicator came on at a stop light. It went away until 3 intersections and turns when I pulled into traffic on 66th St N St. Petersburg fl and quickly lost power. A message appeared on panel to put vehicle in park. I was able to coast to a left turn lane and had it towed to closest Ford dealer that was open, walker Ford. See repair invoice attached. I was fortunate in that it didn't happen in high speed merge attempt between heavy trucks! as the repair seemingly only relocates the fuse and does not address reoccurrence, I believe this was a life threatening safety issue and continues to be a life threatening issue!

After parking the truck, I came out and it would not start, had it towed to my repair shop, where I was told it was a burned wiring to the fuse for power to injectors. There is a service bulletin on this. But still it cost me $300

Two days in a row my vehicle stalled after violently shaking the steering wheel, I had a complete power loss. I coasted to the side of the road and waited to restart the engine. After about 5 minutes I was able to restart my vehicle. The second time it happened I was one the way to the dealership. The dealership called me back to inform me that my vehicle was driven for 26 miles and could not duplicate. I have been researching online to see if there have been any issues. Back in 2013 an investigation was started for this issue. I spoke with the dealership and the service department told me they could not do anything because the cars computers did not throw a code. Not only did nothing happen Ford did not mention any tsb that would help or fix this issue, after I asked about any tsb that would help or fix. Still I got nothing from the dealership.

Made a turn at an intersection with my kids and my F150 ecoboost lost power. I thought we were gonna get hit. I have had my 2013 F150 into the local Ford dealership 3 times for this issue. They tell me to drive it they are waiting for a new computer program from Ford. Engine lite has been on for a month or more. Dealership keeps giving it back. Waiting on program. Vehicle I feel is not safe.

"fuel fill inlet" my truck recently displayed a warning that says "check fuel fill inlet". I've searched the internet and many Ford owners have experience this issue across several models. I've checked the inlet and it is closed as it should be, I've cleaned the area in and around where the fuel nozel goes and there is no debris. This warning causes the "check engine" light to come on and thus generates an "evaporative emissions" code. The " check fuel fill inlet" warning intermittently doesn't come on and thus the check engine light goes off and I'm able to use my remote start. When it comes on I am not able T remote start my vehicle. My vehicle was stationary, parked in front of my house. I got in to start it and the light just came on. It is not an issue that Ford is unaware of and Ford owners have had this issue for nearly 10 years.

Motor warning light lit up and stayed on. Went to an auto zone and their computer showed fuel vapor leak. I was first told the gas cap may be letting out fumes but I have the capless gas input. The truck doesn't act any different but the warning light was a concern to me.

For the second time in 9 months the throttle body on my Ford truck failed. This time it presented a real hazard as we were towing our travel trailer and it's failure put us in a precarious situation as we're trying to merge onto the interstate. The Ford dealer fixed it the first time under the extended warranty then the second repair they tried to evade payment. However, after extensive discussion, they found a it was covered by the warranty provided on the first warranty replacement. I realize the nhsa is aware of the problem, however the response is inadequate. The problem has not been resolved by Ford, the safety risk is still there. Ford seems to be replacing a defective part with the same item. It continues to fail and now it's the consumer is has to pay the price, both having to pay to have the throttle body repeatedly replaced and risking their safety driving the vehicle.
