problem #3

F-150 XL 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 4,400 miles

Started off not starting and giving me a "SERVICE CHARGING SYSTEM" warning on the dash. It has since progressed to no only not starting, but the sync and bluetooth keep refusing to work and now the passenger window switch is non functioning. This happens every 30 days or so, or right after I make a payment. It is currently in the shop again, 01/09/2017 for another said incident. I have contacted Ford and expressed by desire to call this one a lemon. After more than 23 Ford vehicles, I can honestly say this one is just not right in any way, shape, or form.

F-150 Lariat 3.5L Ecoboost

  • Automatic transmission
  • 7,456 miles

Bought a 2015 Ford F150 ECOBOOST second one in year half, every time it rains or get wet out the truck will flash all kinds of lights for service advance track, hill decent disabled, service steering at which time I lose power steering. I have took the truck to the dealership about 10-12 times since this started happening and apparently engineering has looked at has not been able to correct the problem. Sometimes after a rain storm the truck will not even start I have to wait a few hours before it will start it just will keep turning over and wont catch. While driving the in the rain sometimes the truck will start hesitating while driving.

I have been told by the dealership that its everything from trailer wiring, steering rack which has been changed, my air cooled seat which don't work, various sensors and along with a list of other components that have been changed and still this problem keeps happening. STAY AWAY!!! these trucks they are wiring nightmares with answer in site...

F-150

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,150 miles

ignition froze up, key would not turn, unable to start

So glad I was only 1 block from my home when this happened. Called Ford Motor Co. for tow to dealership and they were prompt in issuing Ok for tow. Was definitely a frustrating experience leaving my truck partially blocking the street with hazard lights on.. Dealership still has car, gave me a very nice Lincoln MKX as a loaner.
