problem #1

Aug 012016

F-150 XLT 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 13,000 miles

Not much to say... The electronic computer wasn't diagnosing the problem. Took it in 3 times with no results even after changing the wiring harness to the transmission. The dealer could not figure it out until I learned from this website that the throttle body could be the problem and that's what ultimately fixed it.

The symptoms were alarms of every possible kind. The truck would go into limp mode and if you shut it off and restarted it would go again.
