F-150 XLT 5.0L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 104,000 miles

I maintain 4 of my vehicles (2003 Expedition, 2005 Mustang GT, 2014 Grand Cherokee, 2015 F150). I was a Ford customer up until now, no longer. No way should a truck with only 104,000 easy miles have to have the transmission replaced! I was told by the dealership that it was an internal seal failure which lead to the fluid draining into the bell housing and thus wrecking the transmission. I did have the transmission re-flashed back when it had 32,000 miles because of hard shifting. I believe Ford has yet another crappy transmission issue! 2004-2010 explorers, 2011-2016 Focus/Fiesta, 2011-2019 manual Mustangs and now I believe F150! Built Ford tough my ass!!!
