Windshield wipers freeze up, winter wiper fluid even freezes. I've had about 8 instances of freezing fluid of around 20 degrees or less. This is a significant safety hazard. The hose replacement/check valve does not fix the issue. I spray the fluid while driving during which time it freezes up upon any further uses. In snow/slush salt covered roads it blurs the windshield and ices over in which visibility diminishes and is a significant hazard on the highway regardless of the heat/defroster running full blast. I've had a couple instances where my whole reservoir of wiper fluid with winter mix even freezes.

I cannot figure out what is different from my older vehicles, even my rangers never had such issues. I've tried two types of fluids designed for below zero weather. I think my only solution is to add heater to reservoir or defroster. What makes this worse is my other vehicles are outside while my truck is in the garage having freezing issues, garage is not heated but shielded from weather extremes.

Safety issue ?? Wiper fluid doesn't spray when temperatures go below -3 or 4. Kind of like the door locks and latches. Are these trucks built for Canada or Mexico . Seems like most problems are caused by low temps?? Never been more dissatisfied with a purchase in my life. Owned several Ram trucks and only had minor issues.

Have the dealer remove the check valve at the nozzle. A small amount of water pools at the nozzle opening and when it gets cold... you can figure it out. if the truck is in the sun, it won't freeze, but the rest of the time... major PITA

Brought this issue to the attention of my Ford Dealer. Not sure what they will do. I've drained and replace the washer fluid with new one hoping that will solve the issue but it was still doing it this morning @ -20c.

My 2015 F-150 is three months old and with the other problems I have had it has been at the dealer almost more than my driveway.

MY wiper fluid does not work. I live In Canada and there is a lot of salt on the roads. And of course it gets onto the windshield. I cannot remove it with out pulling over and cleaning my window with a bottle. THE Dealer has told me they cannot do any repairs until the Ford hot line has a fix to the problem. Ford has also told the dealer they will not pay for any repairs until their Dearborn engineers have a fix. This is bullshit. Get your crap together Ford. I BET A TEAM OF MONKEYS CAN FIGURE THIS OUT. I am told that the check valve is not working and the fluid seeps back into the tank and allows water / moisture into the line and freezes.

The reason I am so up set is because I work 12 -14 hours days and don't have time to be driving to the dealer two to three times a week 30 min each way for a brand new truck let alone the other problem I had with I will start another complaint under heat problems.

I AM ever glad I have a $800.00 a month payment for this POS.

LAST THIS IS NOT MY DEALER'S FAULT AND IT'S A SHAME THEY HAVE TO STAND BEHIND THIS PRODUCT AND TELL THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY HAVE NO ANSWER.

Update from May 15, 2016: Been to the dealer many times. and still no fix from Ford Detroit. My dealer Bourgeois has been great and has put a different check valve in AND I BELIVE HAS MOVED THE LOCATION . And the wiper fluid now sprays half way up my wind shield all the time. Not a 100% coverage. But I can not clear my windshield. Thank you again Bourgeois. They are a great Dealer. And are very helpful to there customers. Joshua H
