This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ford dealer.
Left rear door would not close on a cold morning. I have heard of this issue from others. After slamming it about 10 times and working the lock it finally closed again.

The first time the weather dropped below 30 degrees, my driver's side door latch would not operate. The door would close but the latch would not catch. Finally started working after 20 minutes in idle to allow car to fully warm up.

First tailgate won't open, then doors one by one wouldn't open. Took to Ford dealer where I purchased. They ordered Rain Shield Kit for doors and updated Handle Assembly for tailgate. Parts did not come in until April. That was after calling Ford directly. Whoever heard that doors won't open because of weather. It is supposed to be a tough truck. 4wd and all. Also reported that the radio and backup screen went black also. Not sure what they did to it if anything. The more doors wouldn't unlock the madder I would become. You're at the grocery store and doors won't unlock, you're at the feed store and doors won't unlock. Should have stayed with Chevy.

MY 2016 F150 HAS THE ISSUE WITH THE POWER DOOR LOCKS FREEZING, WENT TO LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD HAVE TO ORDER UPDATED PARTS ,THAT WAS IN JANUARY, ON APRIL4 I GOT A CALL THAT THE PARTS WERE IN, PARTS WERE INSTALLED ON APRIL 6 AND I WAS TOLD THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL NEXT WINTER TO SEE IF THE ISSUE HAS BEEN ADRESSED BY FORD!

3rd time to fix the door locks. This time the dealer replaced the latch - why not the first time in the shop in August.
Hate, hate, hate, this truck. '95 F150, '05 F250, '10 F150 Platinum, '16 F150.
No more Fords, tired of seeing the dealer, and its likely mutual at this point. $61,000 sticker, $53,000 transaction price, and its a piece of crap in my opinion.
