New vehicle. It was not disclosed at the time of purchase that there was NO rear alarm when backing up that indicates how close you are to an object or people was deleted from this pickup truck. The Ford Lariat that we test drove HAD this option and the pickup that we traded in also had this option. I backed into my neighbors mailbox. No damage to the truck, thank God. (It did break the post of the neighbors mailbox which I had to pay to be replaced). What is the remedy to resolve this missing option on my new truck?? I am afraid to back up. We have numerous children and animals in our neighborhood.
