problem #1

Oct 212008

F-350 6.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

The truck showed no signs of problems engine light, power drain, loud noise a side from excessive smoke form the exhaust pipe. The truck had just left the dealership the day before for. Regarding draining water from the fuel filter (which is what actually exploded with the turbo). After letting the truck sit it continued to smoke and then burst into flames and the driver was able to put most of the flames out with the extinguisher. But the truck still managed to explode, burning engine severely and minor damages to the body.

The truck is only 9 months old, not even 30,000 miles yet, and inside all warranties. Ford will not provide me with any compensation, rental or even a response for 15 business days. While their Ford Corporate representative has the dealership take a part and diagnose the problem. Now 2 weeks into this they want to ask me about my maintenance records as if not changing my oil in a truck should make it explode. They refuse to give me a person to speak with and Ford says they cannot give out the Ford Corporate rep because that person is going to contact me. But never contacts me to tell me to say "Hey Dude your f*cked and my company doesn't care!!!!"

There are no numbers or anything to show you how to contact the Ford General Counsel dept which is supposedly the the ones who make a decision on if I get a new truck or they fix my crispy one.

Problem is this is my only source of income and I have a mortgage and power bills that don't stay on if I don't pay them. This truck has a note as well as they are ruining my reputation as well as my credit if they do not do something soon.

How can they think that I should have to pay for this or should not be entitled to loss of wages and more. I want an upgrade and a supper fancy warranty
