Fiesta Hatchback

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

The engine car sometimes does not want to start. When shifting makes sounds and pulls. When it's raining and takes water in the transmission computer module (TCM) the transmission shifts to neutral.

In summary if the car have not ever been checked in warranty this car is going to give problems until it gets replaced the TCM and the transmission clutches.

Fiesta SE 1.6L Liters

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,000 miles

I own a 2012 Ford Fiesta. I have taken it in for the recalls to be fixed. The transmission was a huge deal and it still is. It has excessive shuttering and jerking when you accelerate the car from a stopped position!! I want it fixed. I will not buy another Ford ever again, if it is not fixed.

I am livid. I want to join the class action suit. I just tried to trade in my vehicle for something else since I am tired of the problem over and over. The dealers are offering me a lousy 3 to 5 thousand for my car I owe 9, 000. Ford has taken us on this one. We will never purchase another ford.

Fiesta SE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

Just bought this car a few months ago used, has been to the shop 3x... apparently there are numerous issues with the clutch and transmission. The clutch is being replaced @ 30k miles... regretting this purchase. Doesn't shift properly, up or down, delayed response, etc. They claim it is because it drives like a stick... I've been driving a stick for the past 5 years, and it never drove like this.

Fiesta 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission

The Ford place told me that it was my clutch. They replaced my clutch but it still acts jerky and sounds like its stalling out. I believe its the transmission. Maybe a delay or something.

Fiesta SES 1.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,427 miles

Ford says they've gotten a lot of complaints but "its what it does". Told us they realigned the transmission but paperwork says no problem found, normal. My first brand new car and I hate it!! Already had it in for an engine malfunction 3 times. Driving down the highway when it loses all power and hops to a stop, Anyone want a car? come on lemon laws!!
