After the car was stopped and turned off, the rear passenger door was open and would not close. This door is rarely, if ever, used. The door had to be tied to the driver's side passenger door with a tie-down in order to keep the door closed so that the car could not be stolen. The interior lights remained on so the battery had to be disconnected, and then reconnected the next morning so it could be driven to the dealer. My car is out of warranty by only a few hundred miles. I had to pay to fix this obvious manufacturer defect and safety issue. I also had to pay for a rental car so I could go to work. I opened a case with Ford, requesting a refund. My case was escalated to a regional customer manager, who was supposed to contact me by 6:00 eastern time today, but she did not. Now Ford is telling me I may have to call back Monday, so here the runaround begins.

Bought vehicle new in Jan 2013. Was quiet at the time. Has become louder and sounds like something rubbing when turning and sometimes while driving. Car is hesitating and stuttering terrible. Have almost been hit making turns when it begins to hesitate and then speeds up. Dealership told me there is a leak and I need new clutch. They won't have parts for 30 days though. Are they going to pay if I get in accident?
