2016 Ford Fiesta with 23,000 miles and the transmission goes, need to have the car towed to a dealership and rent a car while repairs are made, grateful still under warranty. The costs involved is a nuisance, will call corporate - I bought a new car not to have headaches....and that is all I am having. Other have 10 year old cars that have over 100K and they work fine.

Car wouldn't start. Jump started car. Drove car, car dropped into neutral. Had car towed to dealer. Apparently jumping the car caused the transmission control module to fail. Very concerned if and when the car needs to be jumped in the future and it is no longer under warranty. What caused a 1 year old car to have a dead battery?
