We had our windshield "Replaced" already by the local Ford dealer, Who are outstanding by the way. There was a few lines of distortion in my line of sight initially. With the new windshield it is still Wavy but not like the old. If you move your head up and down you can see the effect, similar to looking through an old glass window. No other car Ive owned have had this problem. Why is it sooo wavy? Im reluctant to go back to the dealer, they were real nice and had the old windshield replaced under warranty. Its annoying, it detracts from"see through vision". It is clear and the distortion is minor but it is still there. The rental Taurus they gave me while the 5 hundred was being fixed had a distortion free windshield. Why the difference?
