Focus Se Wagon 2.0L Zetec Doch

  • Automatic transmission
  • 148,098 miles

In my Focus 2.0 DOHC Zetec, it was the cruise control fuse that was loose. (Its located on the fuse-box behind the steering wheel).
If it happens, Put the car in N - Neutral, before pressing the brakes, and letting the car come to a normal rest. Otherwise it just eats up your brake pads.

Focus 1.8L

  • Manual transmission
  • 73,943 miles

The acceleration pedal on my 2000 ford focus get stuck when you release the pedal after accelerating and the rpm are stuck until I put my toe under the pedal and pull it.

Update from Jan 25, 2012: I had my pedal checked at a local garage about two months ago and it got fixed. They removed the pedal and cleaned it up with a spray on the inside.because of the impurity it didn't come back on its own. I haven't had any more problems with it so far.
