I have been searching this "Vast Almighty World Wide Web" but to no avail I still have not found a solution...I have noticed that Im not the only one suffering from this problem.

I put a third set of tires on my car rated for about 50,000 miles and they were gone in 8,000. Not only did i lose my tires at this time but i lost my transmisson which i have noticed is another problem people are suffering from on this POS. I am now in my 4th set of 50,000 mile rated tires 5th set total and i havent even broken 80,000 miles.

I've owned the car for 3.5 years, 120,000 miles, on fourth set of tires. I tried different brands and size/width of tires. Best results so far have been the Pirelli Four Seasons 205/55 R16. Buy the highest warranty mileage tire, the Pirelli tire mentioned has a 80K warranty. The warranty credit helps with the tire replacement lowering annual costs. Currently it is costing me $350.00 for this next set of tires saving me $250.00 without warranty coverage. The wider tire has greatly improved road traction especially during the winter months here in Michigan. The tire listed above, I got 40K out of them before they hit the tread wear indicator mark. If someone is getting better results with another brand or size of tire please post the information here.
