I get back to work from lunch and can't remove my key from the ignition. I put it back and forth between neutral and park several times, moved the car out of the parking space...no dice. I walked away and came back five minutes later and did the same thing and then it came out. You can remove the key in either neutral or park supposedly. It finally came out. My friend who was a mechanic tells me I need a new key. There goes another $200.

This problem started almost immediately after I took ownership of vehicle. I read about other complaints and that it was related to earlier year models of the focus but NOT TRUE....mine is 2009.
