problem #2

Focus SES 2.0L Dohc

  • Automatic transmission
  • 132,000 miles

I've had this problem with the car since a year after buying it, I had the rear shoes and drums replaced in january and they said it was due to the bearing that is built into the drum being bad, however I am getting a squeal at different times when applying the brakes, also the front rotors continuously warp, I've had them replaced atleast once per year, this problem is becoming very annoying. This car is always babied and maintained there's no reason it should need brakes yearly, or sound like a locomotive when stopping.

Apparently this is a pretty common historically for the Ford Focus with no specific "FIX". So since it is still under warrenty they willl fix it or give me a replacement under the lemon law you know. Spent $222 for "ceramic" brake liners with no luck.

Next step back to the dealer for a serious talk about what will they do to correct this problem.
