Focus SE 2.0i4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 72,000 miles

Every time I get in the car (2010 Ford Focus) to start it will not start . I had a new key made because I was told that the key was bad (150.00) to replace it. Did not help the problem. Then I was told the ignition needed to be replaced _150.00 more.) Still did not help. I have to try 5-6 times to try and start it before it will start and then I have to push real hard to get it to start. Sometimes I just give up because my hand is hurting from trying. Ford cars are a piece of junk. I have had 3 fords in my lifetime ( I did not buy any of them my ex did and they were all junk. I hate fords but seeing as how I am stuck with this one I would like for ford to fix it. It is a defect in the product and I feel like they should honor their product.

The car is hard to start, the key will turn but nothing happens. I am tired of being scared to drive anywhere, for fear I might get stuck somewhere.

Focus SES 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,000 miles

Apparently, Ford has known this is an issue since the 2000 model year. Since this car has only 8K miles on it, you can bet there will be MUCH name calling and ancestry tracing.
