This car grinds, shifts, hesitates and is an automatic. Last Saturday I was driving on my he highway going 60mph and the car went into neutral without any warning. I feared for my life. The car would not go forward or backwards. Luckily a Good Samaritan saw me and ran across the hwy and pushed off the road. My car is now at the dealership. No word yet on the problem.

It was fixed under the warranty but its a hassle to have your car stall in mid freeway and wait all day to get it towed and then be without a car for 2 weeks. Although they did eventually give me a loaner for the 2nd week, which was nice.

Focus SE 2.0L

I bought my car new back in February 2014. It does all kinds of things!! It does not shift right. It jerks, slips, revs high. If you need to accelerate it doesn't ever gear down correctly, either too much or not enough. It has completely stalled at intersections and would not move. It would not even rev up, had to have it towed. It has accelerated into traffic at a red light, twice!! And each time did not have brakes. My children were in the car and it was a near miss. My children could have been killed!!

I have had it at my Ford dealership 5 times!!! Yes, 5 Times!!! Each time it runs fine and does not do anything wrong while they are checking it out. The manager of the service dept. states it is like a smartphone and once you cut it off it resets so this is probably why they can't find anything wrong with it by the time they assess the situation. I do not feel safe driving this car. But it is my only car. I don't know what to do. My dealership state they cannot do anything. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to the dealership 3 times and for some reason they are not able to fix my car. I will be driving with my kids in the car and all of a sudden the car will not move, but it is still running or the car will be going fine then all of a sudden it won't move. So I could be driving on the freeway and my car will not move. That means death or a huge accident for me and my family.

Because Ford WILL NOT HELP ME who knows what will happen next. So every time I get in the car I wonder what's going to happen today. Then the ignition is hard to turn and they can't seem to find anything wrong with that either. I am going to start recording what is happening. So I can prove to them that they need more training on how to fix cars. I am not the only person with this problem. They have had several complaints about this very same issue. Some of these cars are the same make, model and year. But yet they WII NOT HELP US because it's not their family in the car so they DON'T CARE.
