I purchased a new Ford Focus SE on 04/16/18, had a good experience with the sales consultant and the sales manager. I am very satisfied with the car, but on 04/23/18 I noticed that the rubber molding around the two small rear windows was not installed correctly, the rear section is approx. more than 1/4" away from the body, and the lower portion is approx. 1/8" away from the body. This problem will allow water to leak into the car, and in the winter an ice buildup that will damage the body.
I took the car to the Dealer that I purchased the car from, the service tech. said this is normal, I told him that this problem is not acceptable. The service tech said he would give this info. to Ford to see how to resolve this problem, and get back to me in two days. I have no problem with the dealer at this time, I will have to see how Ford handles this problem. Stay tuned.
