There is a recall on the passenger airbag in my 2009 fusion, took to the dealership and they don't have the part. They said the car maker of the airbag hasn't sent any out. If I get into an accident and someone is hurt because of this believe there will be a price to pay.

I ask about my airbag coming apart and the dealer says it can be fixed for $260.00. They have a guy who can fix it. I am worried it will just pop out and hurt my passenger. My car has been kept in the garage since day one, only sit out occasionally. $260.00 seems like a lot of money to fix it.

passenger side air bag is raising up from the dash board
The air bag on the passenger side is separating from the dash board . Of course I'm concerned that it may deploy . I called the service department at the dealership that I bought it from on Monday. They told me that they could not look at the car until Friday. Even when I asked them at least look at it to see if it was safe to drive . They refused !

Not only does the huge separation of my dash where the airbag is, look terrible, I wonder if the airbag will work correctly if in an accident.
