Fusion SE 3.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 152,000 miles

Ford Motor Company knows the throttle body on these vehicles are sh*tty but they don't care. They won't do a recall because there is way too many vehicles and nobody has DIED due to it yet. My advise to everyone is don't buy a Ford, they're f*cking junk. I will never purchase another Ford, they have lost my business for good.

Fusion SE 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 104,000 miles

This is another known issue the throttle body fails and the wrench light comes on. Ford put a new throttle body on my car 21 months ago at their expense. This time we weren't home, but 300 miles away. I knew what it was so we limped to the nearest parts store. I had them read the code and it showed throttle body. I was able to borrow some tools from them so my wife and I put the new one on in the parking lot. I wrote Ford a letter and told them the replacement throttle body only lasted 21 months. I asked them to pay for the part. They told me that since I didn't go to a Ford garage and the part was over 12 months old they wouldn't do anything. I told them if this part is that bad maybe I should carry a spare in the trunk. The strange thing is my son also has a 2010 Fusion and his throttle body has had to be replaced twice also with in the month of mine each time. Do they have expiration dates on these....

Again I say to Ford, stand behind your stuff!
