In February 2016, the problem of being unable to open windows reappeared this year, except this time it affected three windows out of four .. both front windows and back right side will not budge ;-) The dealer is not too sure of what causes that problem, he said they never encountered such issue before. He suspect an electrical problem. I think it is kind of weird that an electrical problem would only occur in Winter ...

Update from Mar 8, 2016: Dealer replace three windows not working, 24 hours later, 2 stopped working again.

Dealer contacted Ford, and they are sending two new modules to replace backwindows (which apparently control all windows) modules and assures it will solve this issue.

Will check later to see if it corrects the issue, will probably know only next Winter ;-)

Update from Dec 16, 2016: Last Winter I reported that Ford had change the engines of the Windows. We were in Spring hence was not able to see if it was really solved. Now Winter started again and sure enough, on the first day of cold, one window stopped working, than another and it ended both rear Windows are no longer functionnal. The story that the module would control all windows is bullocks in my opinion since now only the rear windows do not work and the front windows, at this time, do work.

I have an appointment with the dealer on Monday. I have stressed that this problem needs to be solved permanently as I consider this problem a serious annoyance and a security issue.

Update from Mar 18, 2017: In December 2016, I had again to contact the dealer, with 2 windows not opening after a freezing rain episode and the changes the previous Winter. The dealer again changed something and the windows now opened again. As of 2017, it seems to have been solved. Will need to see if it lasts through another Winter.
