The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion energi. While the vehicle was parked, it rolled down a hill without warning. The contact shifted the gear into drive and was able to stabilize the vehicle. The contact called tuttle-click Ford Lincoln at 949-763-4182 (located at 43 auto center dr, irvine, ca 92618) and scheduled a diagnostic appointment. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to NHTSA. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 27,000.
