Fusion Energi Titanium

A little history with my situation first- I purchased a 2015 Fusion Energi and it started having hybrid/electrical issues at the 13k mile mark. After multiple visits to the dealer (no problem codes displayed & can't duplicate the issues), the car began displaying on the dash serious issues that the dealer began to take seriously. After weeks repeated issues and stuck driving several rental cars I contacted Ford's Customer Service and opened a case to start the Re-Acquired Purchase process. After the case was approved, I had the option of receiving a check from Ford in return of the 2015 or to be put into another Ford Fusion Energi. I chose another Fusion thinking the odds of having 2 Fords with problems should be slim to none. Wrong! 3 months after I was driving my brand new 2016 Fusion the dash began lighting up like a Christmas tree telling me options (front collision, hill start, etc...) were enabled, along with a lit up wrench icon and probably more but I was in panic mode while driving on the freeway while this was all unfolding. The car was loosing power and I was flooring it just to try and make it 3 miles to the next exit - to the Ford Dealership. I finally arrived at the Ford Dealership (where I'm very well known in the service department unfortunately), after being told they would need the car for 5 days I was not a very nice person. They ended up diagnosing and replacing the throttle body and returning the car to me all within the same day. I chose this car because of it's sleek look, not to mention it's great on gas as I drive 80 miles a day round trip for work. I just hope this isn't the beginning of more ongoing problems with yet another Ford :(
