As others have reported, I'm on my third battery with approx. 20,000 miles.. This time, car only sat for 8 days.. Chats on line are saying to buy a battery tender... Seems ridiculous for a new car.. I should not have to plug/unplug my car into an accessory charger every time I want to take it out.. Shame on Ford for not taking responsibility!

My 2005 Mustangs battery keeps getting drained. today, I was unable to go to work and take my daughter to school! I think it is the stupid factory alarm that keeps draining my battery. The stupid car arms itself if I do not set the alarm within 30 seconds of getting out. Then it is impossible to disarm EVEN if I push the damn button on my key alarm! ALSO, I found out that some other people had the same issue with the gas door scratching into the paint as it was opened. WHO KNEW?! I thought the door was bent or something, I didnt know it was a defect!
I wonder what else Im going to find out about my car on this website!?!?!? I always thought mustangs were a good car but now I can add it to the "F-ound O-n, R-oad, D-ead" list of FORD vehicles!

The Alternator and Battery need to be replaced on a car with less then 40K miles on it. Seems to be a drain on the battery. Engine light is on for PO code 340
