Ranger Edge 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

After I replaced the pads on my ranger, I was driving on the roads in yuma and I heard a grinding noise in my front in. After getting home I checked the front brakes and I noticed I lost both of my caliper bolts, so I replaced them on the right side then the left side fell off too. I had to order two sets of calipers bolts for both sides. Then after talking to a mechanic he suggested loctite and ever since then I never had any other problems with the truck. I love my truck and wouldn't trade it for the world

Ranger XLT

  • Automatic transmission
  • 86,000 miles

The caliper bolts fell out and it caused it to damage the inside of my rim, causing the tire to go flat. Now i have to fix the caliper problem and buy a new rim. Any one had caliper problems, i ahve heard this can be common with Rangers.
