Takata recall : Ford Motor Co. Sent recall notice Feb. 2016, went to dealer stated no parts available, I would be notified when available. 11 months driveing without proper driver side airbag. Why, ? I feel this is not a good standard and very unhappy with response.

Takata recall. I am still waiting on Ford to fix the driver's side airbag. I need to be able to sell this vehicle and can not without the air bag being fixed. You can't see a car that you're told to not drive because it could kill you. At this point I believe Ford should purchase the vehicle as if I was selling to a private party, not a dealer as that is the only way I can get any money for the vehicle. It's in great shape but un-sellable specifically because Ford hasn't replaced the airbag. I believe we've been waiting a year?

Takata recall: I think I've been waiting for well over a year for the fix to this recall. I don't feel safe knowing the airbags could harm or kill me and a passenger. I would feel safer if they would deactivate the driver side airbag until the remedy is available.

It's been months since I got the recall notice, and I still haven't heard from the Ford dealer in corbin ky.
