Takata recall. In July of 2016, I received a notice informing me of a dangerous, faulty airbag inflator in my vehicle. The notice said I would be informed as soon as Ford is able to conduct a corrective repair/replacement of problematic part. It is now October 2017, and I still haven't received such a communication; I have confirmed this unavailability of remedial repairs online. The 15+ month wait time to have this potentially lethal defect corrected I consider unacceptable.

Takata recall-Ford is taking way to long to replace these defective airbags! every day that passes puts everyone with an affected vehicle at greater risk of injury or death. Make Ford fix this now!

I have called repeatedly for the recall. Each time I am told they have no idea when they will make the repairs. I just received notice that takata is in bankruptcy. I continue to drive in an unsafe vehicle. I would like for Ford to make its vehicles safe for its drivers.

Takata recall. I was sent the original letter for the passenger bag recall in July 2016. I just received the letter from tkh telling me to contact my nearest dealership to get this fixed as soon as possible. I have called the dealers in the las vegas area and they say they don't have parts. I have called all these numbers given on the letter and the recent card, that just go to recordings to try and find help. This has affected my life greatly. Having just a two seater truck, I am not allowed to have my grandchild in the truck with me. Even though I agree, I wouldn't want to risk her life!! this has really put a strain on our relationship as we cannot do things together and nobody will loan me their car. Why am I getting this letter (that will give us our life back) if there are no parts? this has been well over a year!! please help! thank you!
