Working on friends pu. 2.3L complaint sticky throttle. Turning throttle by hand at juncture of throttle cable shows obvious sticking. Disconnect cable, still sticks. Careful observing revealed interference point between throttle attachment and unrelated lifting metal immediately underneath. Fix was to impact interfering metal via socket extension and hammer.
