Thunderbird 8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

Car will blow hot air out of passenger side vents when a/c is on. Sometimes if you fiddle with the temp controls it will start working correctly. Over time problem became more frequent until had to get it fixed. the fix was to "change heater control valve. This fix lasted 11 months and problem came back again. This time a Florida dealer fixed it again (same diagnosis) and charged about 650.00. Car currently doing same thing again. Trying to sell car now but has unrepaired overheating problems also. Car = Boat Anchor. I believe car is haunted by a Demon from Hell.

Every time we took the car in, it would work properly... left it several times, they could not find a "problem". "Quality is job one" is a laugh!!!!!!!!

Thunderbird 3.6L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

this vehicle has over 75,000 miles (122,000 kilo ) on it and runs like a charm, no other problems reported anywhere else, looks and feels and rides like the day I bought it. I am quite satisfied even tho the a/c & heater needs fiddling with occasionally in order to get them to come on.

Heater comes on when A/C should be on. Temperature outside is higher than setting, but heater comes on so hot it burns your feet and will not go off no matter how you adjust the temperature. It happens for or five times a year out of the blue.
