The driveline broker from it's holding mount while driving and tangled up the fuel line and brake lines going to the rear of the van. Making the van lose power and not be able to be driven anymore. This happened while driving on the freeway. This is extremely dangerous. Also they have a recall on the rear flex joint which the Ford dealership has recognized but are refusing to pay for the total repair. How is that fair? it is Ford's design flaw that made this happen.

The ABS tone rings on the Ford Transit vans crack often. There has been no recall according to Ford. This is my 3rd set of rear tone rings in 3 years. I loose my hill-assist, ABS, traction control, and other safety features.

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Transit. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired per NHTSA campaign number: 17V408000 (power train) by autonation Ford bellevue (411 116th ave ne, bellevue, wa 98004, 425-243-5203), but the remedy failed to repair the vehicle. While driving 25 mph, the engine made an abnormal noise. When the contact depressed the accelerator pedal, the vehicle seized and the brakes failed. The manufacturer was notified of the failures and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.

The rear left brake pad in the outside(wheel side) reduce running clearance do to misalignment of the caliper housing, producing unsafe excessive heat, poor mpg's, metal to metal noice and expensive mantaining costs Ford know the problem and emit tsb 15-0190, but doesn't correct their defect free cost on vehicles over 36,000 miles and doesn't comunicate to the vehicles owners that they are at risk.

The contact owned a 2016 Ford Transit. While driving approximately 15 mph, the contact heard a banging sound and the vehicle pulled to the right. The contact had to force the vehicle to the left to avoid striking two parked vehicles. The vehicle traveled approximately 60 yards and came to a stop. In addition, the brakes failed to operate. The contact exited the vehicle and noticed that the passenger side wheel collapsed and was under the vehicle. A police report was filed and there were no injuries. The manufacturer was notified and transferred the contact to NHTSA for further assistance. The vehicle was destroyed. The approximate failure mileage was 353.
