THOUGHT MAYBE LEFT WINDOW OPEN OR SOMETHING. CLEANED UP AND WENT ON. SINCE THEN EVERY TIME CAR IN WEATHER, LEAKS EVERYWHERE. HAD CAR COMPLETELY GUTTED AND REPAIRED WITH NEW CARPET NEW DRAINAGE TUBES AND ALL IN 2014. 6000. 00. STILL LEAKS INTERMITTENTLY. THE LAST YEAR EVERY TIME IT RAINS OR IS VERY COLD, BATTERY IS DEAD. RATHER IT IS IN THE GARAGE OR OUTSIDE. SMELLS OF MOLD. WHEN BATTERY DIES KEY LOCKED IN IGNITION, CANNOT GET CAR OUT OF GARAGE BECAUSE GEAR SHIFT LOCKED. YESTERDAY COULD NOT JUMP CAR. UP TO THIS POINT THAT WORKED. GMC YOU NEED TO ADDRESS THIS AS THIS IS A WIDE PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE.

Alright as I find this sight doing research for the issue I am having with my Acadia. Just after 1 month of ownership. My wife went to start car for work only to get nothing . She got me to come jump start the car as it seemed dead. I jumped off with no problem and requested she turn off ignition only to find when she did with key in hand the car continued to run. Took to Dealership and they diagnosed a leak around windshield that had the fuse block under glove box full of water. The windshield had a small crack in the lower corner so dealership recommended to replace because it needed to be resealed for leak anyway. Also recommended to replace fuse block as it was corroded. All to the sum of $799.58 later the issue was supposed to be resolved. they advised me that they also checked the drain tubes for sunroof and they were fine and drained as well.

Well here we are a week later and it sat out in the light rain for maybe 2 hours and got home and noticed water dripping into both floorboards from a pillars.

What is next? Any solutions? I can not afford on going issues like this. Need help

We purchased a 2008 Acadia almost 2 years ago and just recently had a problem with electrical issues. No longer under warranty, we took it to our mechanic and found the electrical box behind the glove compartment was full of water. He dried it out and wrapped it up. It ran fine for a week, then the battery mysteriously had a parasitic drain and would not start. Took it back to him and today he found the tubing that houses the electrical in the driver's door full of water.

After reading reviews, I'm sure a dealer will do nothing but take my money and not fix the problem. This is a design flaw and apparently GM is not stepping up to the plate to fix it.

Funny that after almost 2 years the problem starts. We have loved our Acadia up until this point. We have a 2,000 mile trip planned, now what? I'm certainly not very happy and not sure what recourse there is. Can a class action suit be filed or has one already been filed?
