problem #1

Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3L V8

I called the dealer and before ever seeing the vehicle they told me over the phone that it was salt corrosion, I took the vehicle there and they took pictures and sent them to district rep and they said same thing. I asked how did you determine it was salt based corrosion through pics and never looking at them in person? I quoted them the tech bulletin on filiform corrosion and they came back and said it looks like curbing, which is weird because the only wheel I am NOT complaining about is the only one with curbing.

I asked for the rep to come out in person and look at the wheels and they refused and say they are not changing their decision. I paid extra for the wheels, they are not standard equipment and after two years they look like sh*t. The dealer said they would replace them but won't in fear that when they send them back to GM that they will be denied and get stuck with the bill, they suggested I get a second opinion and when I call around to dealers I find out that they are all monopolized by the one and only district rep that made the decision and refuses to look at them in person.

So I finally found a dealer that had a different district rep and I have to drive three hours out of my way to them. This is BS, I have talked to many people and know people that have had them replaced for the same problem. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GM PRODUCT AGAIN IN MY LIFE
